Known from immediate subtidal to 20 m, on rock (Ref. 337). Also found in offshore coral reefs (Ref. 83934). Dead shells frequent on the beaches (Ref. 88739).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
