Found along the intertidal to subtidal zone to depths of 20 m. Associated with the tealia anemones, Urticina crassicornis and U. lofotensis, where it feeds (Ref. 95344).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
