Found in soft muddy bottoms in the intertidal zone of estuarine areas. Typically inhabits small pools on deal coral reef platforms, always on shores of open sea. Occurs at low tide (Ref. 103131). Subtidal (Ref. 106854). Seldom goes out of holes. Climbs on small stones or debris to reach water surface (Ref. 103131). Associated with the cirripede Octolasmis unguisiformis (Ref. 103130).
