Southeast Pacific: Easter Island. 40 cm, total body length; 11 cm, carapace length. All specimens were caught in lobster traps (Ref. 4).

Members of the order Decapoda are mostly gonochoric. Mating behavior: Precopulatory courtship ritual is common (through olfactory and tactile cues); usually indirect sperm transfer.
