It has lengths of 18 cm (male) and 20 cm (female), maximum total body length; 6.4 cm (male) and 7.4 (female), maximum carapace length; 15 to 16 cm, average total body length (Ref. 4). Occurs at depths between 228 and 450 m on soft substrates (sandy mud, or sand) (Ref. 4).
