Epifauna on vegetated substrates (Cymodocea nodosa), feeding on microalgae at depths between 10 and 14 m in different seasons (Ref. 124743). Found in Posidonia oceanica meadows with low and extremely low pH conditions (Ref. 124742).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
