Mid intertidal to shallow subtidal, on moderately exposed shores. Found on rock pools and amongst algae beds. Associated with Sargassum hemiphyllum, Ulva lactuca, and Enteromorpha prolifera (Ref. 126194).

Members of the phylum Nematoda are mostly gonochoric. Copulation is common. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and undergo three (3) juvenile instars before becoming adults.
