Living on rocks wetted by freshwater near the coasts of Sunday and Dayrell islands; dead shells occasionally dredged off the shore (Ref. 88739). Also found in mangrove areas (Ref. 129120).

Members of the order Neotaenioglossa are mostly gonochoric and broadcast spawners. Life cycle: Embryos develop into planktonic trocophore larvae and later into juvenile veligers before becoming fully grown adults.
