Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 15 - 200 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  A cryptic benthic species found in shallow-water. Both juvenile and adult species can be found in cooler waters on rocks, rubble, shell beds, or the boundary between sand and rock, up to 200 meters (Ref. 131166).
