Piscivorous (Ref. 87786). Displays dipping behavior (Ref. 356). Embryonic deaths, subcutaneous and pericardial edema, growth disruption, liver damage, and unsuccessful breeding and development linked to exposure to polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) in the Great Lakes (Ref. 87784).
