Broadly ovate. Valve Color: white, light straw-yellow or pale brown. Girdle: Broadly expanded at anterior end and pale yellowish in color; densely covered with small, elongate, spicules and sparsely scattered large bristles covered with slender, smooth, sharp spicules (Ref. 283).
