Short description Morphology

Formation: massive, often forming large domes on reef tops. Corallites: cerioid, tightly compacted, irregularly shaped, 8 to 10 mm diameter. Septa: rounded, bead-like dentations only in living colonies. Color: combinations of blue-gray, green and yellow (Ref. 848).

Members of the class Anthozoa are either gonochoric or hermaphroditic. Mature gametes are shed into the coelenteron and spawned through the mouth.
