Found on Laminaria holdfasts, Crisia, Cellaria, Amathia, gravel and rocks (Ref. 1442). This is a suspension feeder (Ref. 3477). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
