Diagnosis Trunk slightly tapered anteriorly; strongly tapered posteriorly with narrow penultimate and slightly flared terminal segments. Mid-dorsal spinose projections well-developed. Semicircular cuticular ridge prominent on sternal plates. Distinct, round projections of the anterolateral tergal margins of the first trunk segment. Small projections on the anterior tergal margin. Lateral projection of tergal plate present in females; absent in males. Males with 3 pairs of penile spines at anterolateral margins of terminal sternal plates, 2 unmodified lateral setae on segment 12, adhesive tubes on segment 4 sternal plates, even lateral margin on terminal tergal plates, and slightly narrower trunk segments (Ref. 1409).
