Diagnosis First trunk segment slightly narrower than second trunk segment; maximum width at segment 7, then tapers moderately thereafter with the terminal segment indented slightly at midline. Midsternal plate of first trunk segment with nearly parallel lateral margins. Segment 8 to 12 with middorsal setae. Mid-dorsal spinose protuberances reduced on segments 3, 5 to 9. Lateral setae absent on segment 12. Buttress-like cuticular support present between lateral margin and pachycyclus of each sternal plate. Males with 3 pairs of penile spines at the anterolateral margins of terminal sternal plates, adhesive tubes on sternal plates of segment 4, slightly longer first trunk segment, and slightly narrower trunk (Ref. 1409).
