| Diagnosis | Shell moderate, having 8-9 flat sided whorls. Sutures are impressed. There are about 5 spiral striae on upper whorls, and 15 on body whorls. Numerous pronounced ribs are present on the upper whorls. Shell has a knobby appearance. Outer lip straight, siphonal canal short, and the columella is smooth. Shell is dark grey or brown. Operculum is brown and horny. |
