Comments |
Cultivation of Haliotis rufescens picked up long after it's initial introduction, being fifth in abalone production in 2006 with 304 tons. It was initially cultivated in tanks and hatcheries on land, but has since started being cultured in maritime concessions particularly in Southern Chile. |
