Comments	Worldwide : Indo-West Pacific, Red Sea to Hawaiian Islands. Mediterranean : recorded first from Israel as Palaemonella vestigialis (Holthuis and Gottlieb, 1958 [1948]) and repeatedly collected since. Recently reported from Fethiye, Turkey (Grippa, pers. Com.).
