Definition of Term

oil globule
(English) One or several small spheres of oil within the yolk-sac of fish larvae; size, number, position and colour of oil globules is variable and so a useful character for identification. (See also: egg, larvae, yolk-sac)
globule huileux
(French) Petite sphère huileuse dans le sac vitellin des larves de poissons; la taille et le nombre des globules huileux sont des caractères d'identification. (See also: egg, larvae, yolk-sac)
