Definition of Term

(English) A parasite that lives inside its host, either in its tissues or in the internal organs; opposite of ectoparasite. (See also: ectoparasite, parasitic)
(French) Un parasite qui vit à l'intérieur de son hôte, soit dans ses tissus ou soit dans les organes internes; l'antonyme d'ectoparasite. (See also: ectoparasite, parasitic)
