Remark Terrestrial plant eaten exclusively in Seymour Norte and St. Cruz by marine iguanas weighing 1,000 g or more. Hypothesized to be a supplement to a diet based on intertidal zone foraging. Marine iguanas living near Batis patch, potentially including Batis in their diet were reported to be relatively larger than other individuals on the island.
