This is a nocturnal species hiding in cavities and are found on sand, algae and rocks at depths of 2 to 45 m. Its food preferences are polychaetes, bivalves and dead fish (Ref. 87801). Distributed between the tidal zone and 45m deep in Mehuín Bay, Chile (Ref. 125913).
