Assumed maximum total length .3 cm from Ref. 1585. Meiobenthic (Ref. 1143). Also found in subtidal shell-hash sediment zones. Feeds by scraping bacteria from the surrounding particulate matter and ingesting them (Ref. 1570). Occurs in both intertidal and shallow subtidal sands; found from the mid-tide range to just within the infralittoral zone (Ref. 1585). Occurs from low to mid tide mark.
