Shell elongate, anterior canal wall developed, 3 axial varices present on last whorl, varices with foliated spines, surface sculpture of flat spiral cords and cordlets in the interspaces. Colour: variable, with dark and pale spiral bands, aperture whitish.
On mud flats in protected bays and lagoons, near oyster flats, and mangrove environments (Ref. 355).
