Short description Morphology

Trunk segments 3 to 12 slightly tapered, beginning with segment 6. Long, slightly recurved lateral terminal spines, with transverse mark about 1/3 distance from base. Line of punctate sculpturing line parallel to a slightly denticulate dorsoanterior margin of first trunk segment. Segments 4 to 12 with areas of distinctive punctate cuticle lateroventral. Males have adhesive tubes and lacks setae on segment 4, 2 pairs of penile spines at anterolateral margins of terminal sternal plates, absent subdorsal setae, shorter lateral terminal spines, slight differences in number and position of cuticular markings and scars, and slightly denticulate anterodorsal margin on the first trunk segment (Ref. 1409).
