Short description Morphology

This species can be distinguished by the following set of characters: presence of striking dorso-ventral flattening of the right cheliped; reduced branchial formula; 4th pereopods with grasping-like spines (instead of typically pagurid rasp-like scales; almost symmetrical uropods and telson; minute pair of 1st pleopods (gonopods).
