Additional Characters | Laying of eggs peaked during austral winter. Most gentoo pairs laid two eggs with a laying interval of 2-6 days, no size dimorphism was observed. Incubation of the first laid-egg was longer than the second. The eggs hatched with an interval of 0-5 days, during austral spring. |
