Biology:  Found in muddy bottoms of estuarine and inshore areas (Ref. 96352), from the infralittoral (Ref. 85338) to sublittoral zones (Ref. 96352). Solitary (Ref. 2377). A filter feeder (Ref. 96292); microvore that feeds on organic detritus (Ref. 96352); also a carnivore-scavenger (Refs. 96313, 96352).
