Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Members of the Family Nereididae are associated with sediments in cracks and crevices on reef platforms, some occur under coral boulders and protected overhangs or in coral rubble (Ref. 107425). Probably omnivores and scavengers as some species have been observed feeding on algae while others feed on invertebrates (e.g. ascidians) and carrion (Ref. 107862).
