Distribution:  Pacific Ocean. Subtropical to boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum and common length from Ref. 822. Feeds on crustaceans, prosobranchs, tunicates, sponges and bryozoans. Predator: polycerid nudibranch and the sea tiger (Ref. 844).
