Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: From Madagascar to India, reaching Japan and Australia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found subtidal on sandy-muddy substrates, from depths of 7 to 107 meters (Ref. 125642).

Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Known from Tolo Harbour, Tolo Channel, and Mirs Bay (Ref. 109414). Also known around Lamma Island, off southeast of Hong Kong Island, southwest of Lantau Island, and west of Tuen Mun (Ref. 125642). C: Ref. 109414.
