Thinly encrusting to small mounds; less than 0.1 cm - 0.3 cm thick; with volcano-like oscular elevations; 0.1 - 0.2 cm high, 0.4 - 1.2 cm wide. Oscules: small; 0.1 - 0.3 cm. Commonly stolons branch off main body. Bright to drab turquoise green. Surface smooth and punctuate. Soft (Ref. 415). |
Body Thickness: 0.3 cm. Depth range from Belize and Panama (Ref. 86836). It is an epibiotic species found on mangroves and submerged vegetation (Ref. 108813). Common on mangrove roots and other sponges (Ref. 415). |
