Distribution:  Arctic, Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and the Antarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Main food is detritus, including diatoms, unicellular algae and small invertebrates (based on the feeding ecology of the family Terebellidae; Ref. 87179). Sessile suspension and surface deposit feeder. Use tentacles to feed (Ref. 125928).
