Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 97531. Pelagic (Ref. 106854). Found intertidal with algae (Ref. 77944), on seagrass beds, coral reefs and on flotsam (Ref. 83922). Also on muddy, sandy substrates (Ref. 99823) and emergent vegetation (Ref. 97531). Subtidal (Ref. 106854).
