Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and the Atlantic: Laccadives (Ref. 1840). Tropical and subtropical water.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found burrowing in crevices of coral rubble and soft rocks in intertidal and subtidal shallow waters (Ref. 415 and 1840). Intertidal and shallow subtidal in crevices of coral rubble or soft rock (Ref. 415); very common in Bocas del Torro, Panama (Ref. 415). At Intertidal and shallow waters usually wedged in crevices or burrowing in coral and soft rock (Ref. 1840, p. 189).
