Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Central Pacific Ocean: Hawaii, Philippines and Malayan Archipelago.
Diagnosis:  5.5 to 20 cm wide, exumbrella smooth or finely granulated; 6 to 8 broadly rounded, well separated velar lappets without connecting membrane; mouth-arms terminate in along, tapering naked filament, about two-thirds as long as the lower arm itself; intracircular canal system fine-meshed with about 20 canal roots in each octant.
