Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 100 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found along the neritic zone, in reef areas (Ref. 97241). Prefers intertidal and shallow subtidal coral reef flats with high-energy surge zones (Ref. 3099). A predatory carnivore (Ref. 97241).
