Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range - 15 m
Distribution:  Southeast Atlantic and Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 822. Found from the intertidal to a depth of 15 m. Feeds on campanularid hydroids (Ref. 866); and on the hydroid, Lytocarpus (Ref. 822).
