Distribution:  Pacific Ocean and the Arctic: Northern Pacific Basin (Ref. 1394), Subarctic waters of the Northern Pacific (Ref. 1522). Cold temperate and subarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found on the continental slope and oceanic waters. Feeds on squid (Ref. 1394).
