Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Intertidal (Ref. 107147). Main food based on another species of the same Genus; to be replaced with a better reference (Ref. 96313). Most syllids are free-living, abundant in rocky environments, living on algae and kelp rhizoids (Ref. 107174). Part of fouling communities in mariculture zones (Ref. 127121).
