Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 15 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Chile and Peru.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on sand with stones or rocks in tidepools or sand-filled crevices protected from swell with only its oral disc visible to a depth of 15 m (Ref. 87801).

Country info:  Known from Chilean part of the Peruvian Province, Puerto Montt to Peninsula Taitao and Golfo de Penas. It is locally abundant in central Chile but is rare in the fjord region (Ref. 87801). C: Ref. 87801.
