Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 10 - 100 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific: Possible endemic to Chile. Subtropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on steep rock walls at depths of 10 to 100 m. It is often used as a substrate by other species such as tunicates and cnidarians or is epizoic itself (Ref. 87801).
IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated (N.E.) Ref. 123251)
Threat to humans:  harmless
Country info:  Possibly endemic to Chile. Known from Puerto Montt to Peninsula Taitao and Golfo de Penas down to Strait of Magellan. Its abundance is known to be rare in this country (Ref. 87801). C: Ref. 87801; O: Ref. 87801.
