Max. size:  40 cm WD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 475 m
Distribution:  Circumboreal: Arctic Ocean, Northern Pacific and Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 865. Found on rocky substrates but in the deeper part of its range, it is found on pebbles and mud (Ref. 93256).
