Environment:  benthopelagic; marine; depth range 0 - 10 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic.
Diagnosis:  15 cm wide, flat and with rounded edges, well marked central concavity; 5 lappets in each octant, short and blunt; mouth-arms, about one and one-fourth times the length of bell radius, triangular in cross-section, aboral surface broad and flat, 10 to 15 alternate primary branches, with numerous large, ribbon shaped filaments.
Biology:  Neritic, estuarine, symbiotic (Ref. 116114).
