Distribution:  Atlantic, Indo-Pacific, and the Antarctic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It lives epizoic on hydroids, i.e. Symplectoscyphus filiformis at depths of 20 to 30 m (Ref. 87801). It is an attached species (Ref. 3123). Known from mangroves (Ref. 86642).
