Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Taiwan to Australia and Indonesia to Samoa.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are arborescent with tubular, thin-walled corallites. Rims of corallites are flared and septa are very exsert. Tentacles are usually extended only at night that are tapering, translucent and with white tips. Colors may vary from pale brown, to yellow or green, sometimes with white branch ends.
