Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Appears to live in extremely shallow waters. Found in tidal zones. Occurs rarely on mud and sandy mud (Ref. 107925). Many ostracods are suspension feeders; some are carnivores, herbivores or scavengers (Ref. 833).
