Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Persian Gulf.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in sand (sandy mud and shelly sand), clay, mud, shells and coral (Ref. 107806). Probably omnivores and scavengers as some species have been observed feeding on algae while others feed on invertebrates (e.g. ascidians) and carrion (Ref. 107862).
