Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Belize and Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Supratidal (Ref. 97531). Semi-terrestrial; digs burrows in high-intertidal sediments in mangroves and estuaries (Ref. 104869). It can also be found in burrows with chimneys (Ref. 86356). Deposit-feeder (Ref. 66921).
