Distribution:  Southeast Pacific and Southwest Atlantic: Magellan Region.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found on rocky substrates with strong currents at depths of 9 to 120 m (Ref. 87801). They reproduce year-round. Spawn is a whitish curved string forming about 4 spirals (Ref. 87801).
